YPT Identity Verification New User Guide

一、YPT Identity Verification Process

1. Fill in personal information.

2. Upload ID photos.

3. Complete facial recognition verification.

4. Submit a personal statement (if required by the system). For detailed steps, please refer to: How to Complete Account Identity Verification.

Please note the following scenarios that do NOT support identity verification. Check in advance:

1. Services are temporarily unavailable in some countries. Refer to: YPT Unsupported Countries List.

2. Each user's identity information can only verify one account. Even if you hold multiple different IDs or have deleted a verified account, you cannot resubmit verification.

3. YPT does not provide services to users under the age of 18.

二、YPT Identity Verification Notes

We recommend users read the following precautions before submitting identity verification to avoid interruptions and verification failure.

1. Filling in Personal Information

2. Fill in the surname and given name that match the ID document. Pay attention to the order of surname and given name; incorrect filling will lead to verification failure. Example: Nom = Given Name, Prenom = Surname. If there is a middle name, combine it with the given name in the same field.

3. Fill in the date of birth that matches the ID document. Pay attention to distinguishing the month and date; incorrect filling will lead to verification failure. Example: The correct format is: November 1, 2006

4. ID Photos

• Users need to upload ID types supported by YPT. If an ID type is not displayed in the app, it means the country does not support using this ID for verification.

  • Example: Hong Kong supports verification with passports and identity cards.

  • Example: Brazil supports verification with passports, driver's licenses, and identity cards.

• YPT only accepts original ID documents for verification. Photocopies, printouts, ID screenshots, or cropped ID photos are NOT supported.

• If both sides of the ID need to be uploaded, ensure they are from the same person. Missing either side or using different persons' IDs will cause failure.

• Ensure ID information is clear and visible. Obstructed, damaged, or highly reflective IDs will lead to failure.

• Upload IDs with a validity period of more than 3 months; otherwise, verification will fail.

1. Facial Recognition Verification

• Facial recognition must be completed by the account holder; photos are not accepted.

• Use the front camera of the device during the process.

• Ensure stable network, good lighting, and a clear face.

• Hold the device vertically. Inverted or horizontal placement will cause facial recognition failure.

• Keep unrelated people or objects out of the frame.

• Look straight at the camera and avoid shaking the device to prevent review failure.

1. Submitting a Personal Statement (if required by the system)

• Submit the statement within 14 days from the system's request. Failure to submit within 14 days will result in verification failure.
